MedGlobal Ukraine is working to improve healthcare systems and availability in war-affected communities through the “Strengthening Primary Healthcare and Early Detection of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)” project, in partnership with the Medical Center “Likarska Dynastiya.”
As part of this vital initiative, MedGlobal purchased advanced diagnostic equipment — including blood pressure monitors, Hemoglobin A1c devices, lipid profile analyzers, kidney function test kits, and telemedicine-ready tools. These resources will enable healthcare providers to detect and manage cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and other chronic conditions early and effectively.
To ensure the equipment is used to its full potential, 33 medical professionals completed hands-on training, while 10 additional nurses participated in online training focused on mobile patient care and cloud-based health data systems.
This project was facilitated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and accepted and funded by Latter-day Saint Charities Australia.
