Dear friends and colleagues, to mark the end of\u00a0<\/b>#16Days of Activism<\/b><\/span>and the\u00a0<\/b>International Day of Human Rights<\/span><\/b>, you are warmly invited to the seminar, ASSISTING TRAFFICKED WOMEN, on best practices in legal assistance and integration support to female migrant victims of\u00a0trafficking for sexual exploitation in Europe, that will take place online on\u00a0<\/span><\/b>10 December at 10:00-13:00 Brussels time<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n

In this webinar,\u00a0 dedicated to ensuring the\u00a0human rights of victims of trafficking<\/i>, we will have an opportunity to exchange with some of the key stakeholders, including the representatives of the\u00a0Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination of Women<\/i>\u00a0(CEDAW),\u00a0OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights\u00a0<\/i>(ODIHR),\u00a0GREVIO Committee on the Istanbul Convention<\/i>, and, the\u00a0European Union\u2019s office of Anti Trafficking Coordinator<\/i>. We will hear from the experts and practitioners of the ASSIST partnership on best practices and barriers to service implementation, to meet the complex and long-term needs of female migrant victims of the gendered crime of trafficking and a form of Violence against Women. The event disseminates the findings of a two-year project EU AMIF-funded project led by the Immigrant Council of Ireland (ICI), in partnership with the organisations from Germany (SOLWODI), Italy(BeFree), Spain(SURT) and the UK(JustRight Scotland), and the \u00a0European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW).<\/div>\n
